✅ Recommendations

  • Special passenger trains like Train 06057 are rare and not regularly available.
  • For reliable travel, choose one of the regular daily services:
    • Train 12695 / 12696 (Superfast Express): broadly available every day.
    • Train 12623 / 12624 (Mail): good for overnight departures.
  • Prefer 22207 / 22208 (Premium AC Express) for faster comfort if travel dates align with its bi-weekly schedule.
  • Train 12697 is useful if you’re traveling on a Sunday.

⚠️ Note on Terminal Station Changes

  • Since July 19, 2025, the 12695 Superfast Express has been terminating at Thiruvananthapuram North (Kochuveli) instead of TVC. This has caused inconvenience due to limited transport options to the city center.
  • Redevelopment of city stations (including Thiruvananthapuram North) is underway to ease congestion and improve connectivity.
