ATMs will be installed in trains, now you will not have to wander around for money.

“Keeping passenger convenience in mind, Indian Railways has introduced an onboard ATM facility in trains. This initiative ensures that if travelers need cash during their journey or happen to forget to carry it, they can easily withdraw money while onboard, without facing any inconvenience

The Indian Railways (IR) has started installing ATMs onboard some trains, so passengers may not have to rush to stations looking for cash.

The first ATM onboard a train was deployed on Mumbai–Manmad Panchavati Express (also called Panchvati Express), making it the first train in India to offer this facility.

If you’re travelling on long-distance trains, you might run out of cash unexpectedly — having an ATM onboard could save you trouble, especially in remote areas or at odd hours.

Good for people who may need cash during travel (for food, drinks, station vendors, emergencies).
