🔍 What Actually Happened in 2025
Central Railway (CR) typically schedules mega blocks on Sundays, and here are the confirmed occurrences:
- 1 June 2025 — Mega block across Central, Harbour, and Western lines for infrastructure maintenance.
- 27 July 2025 — Major mega/jumbo block affecting Central, Harbour, Trans‑Harbour, and Western lines.
📅 Why 17 October 2025 Likely Had No Maintenance Block
- 17 October 2025 falls on a Friday, not a Sunday—when CR typically plans megablocks.
- No Central Railway or public PR releases, Mumbai local media coverage, or commuter alerts (X/Twitter posts) mention any block on that date.
- Therefore, regular suburban services on that day were likely unaffected.
