Central Railway will operate Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on 31st January 2025.

Byculla – Matunga Up and Dn Fast Lines From 11.05 A.M. To 4.05 P.M.

Kurla – Vashi Up and Dn Harbour Lines From 11.10 A.M to 4.10 P.M.

These maintenance mega blocks are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.

Western Railway Jumbo Block 

WR’S JUMBO BLOCK BETWEEN BORIVALI & GOREGAON STATIONS ON SUNDAY 31st JANUARY 2025

To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block of five hours will be taken on UP and DOWN Slow lines between Borivali and Goregaon from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs on Sunday, 31st January, 2025.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Wester Railway, during the block period, all UP and DOWN Slow line trains will run on Fast lines between Goregaon and Borivali and no trains will be dealt from Platform No. 1, 2, 3 & 4 at Borivali station. Due to block few suburban trains will remain cancelled, whose list is available in Station Master’s office. Passengers are requested to please take note of the above arrangements.

  • 5th & 6th lines between Thane and Kalyan blocked from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. All UP/DOWN slow services diverted on fast lines with stops at Thane, Diva, Dombivli, etc., and expected delays of ~10 minutes
  • Harbour Line Vashi–Panvel services blocked from ~11:05 AM to 4:05 PM (Panvel–CSMT services blocked till ~5:07 PM). Limited special services operate on CSMT–Vashi section
  • Trans-Harbour Line (Thane–Vashi/Nerul) services cancelled between ~11:05 AM–4:05 PM. Thane–Vashi section remains operational with some exceptions

🗓️ Sunday, 13 July 2025

  • Blocks on 5th & 6th lines between Vidyavihar and Thane, carried out from 08:00 AM to 1:30 PM for engineering work. Several mail/express trains were temporarily diverted during this window

  • Central & Harbour line slow lines blocked (noted via Facebook updates) — exact timing similar to other Sunday maintenance slots: likely between 11:00 AM–4:00 PM
