⚠️ Traveler Notes & Tips

  • Low track priority: Special trains often yield to regular express or freight services—expect frequent delays, sometimes several hours.

“Don’t go for special trains unless you really need to, they are always ass with their timings”
    ([turn0reddit20])

  • Backup options: Regular trains like the Sewagram Express (12139/12140) or Vidarbha Express (12105/12106) operate daily with better punctuality and more consistent service.
    ([turn0search14]turn0search17])
  • Booking: Available via IRCTC or PRS; unreserved coaches can be booked via UTS. Booking opened from 24 March 2025.
    ([turn0search4]turn0search9])
  • Amenities: No pantry car—prep your own food and water. Coach choices include Sleeper, AC-3T, AC-2T, and General.

🧭 Recommendations

  1. Prefer regular daily trains (Sewagram, Vidarbha) if your schedule is tight.
  2. If you opt for special trains, book early in Sleeper or AC classes.
  3. On travel day, check live running status on IRCTC/NTES for any timing changes.
  4. Carry essentials—special trains offer no pantry or on-board catering.
