What You Can Do

To verify cancellations or diversions for that specific period:

  1. Check NTES (National Train Enquiry System) — using the train number or PNR to retrieve any historical route changes.
  2. Visit Northern Railway’s official site periodically; the “Press Releases” section may publish updates retrospectively.
  3. Contact railway helpline (139) — they may be able to check archival operational logs or internal bulletins.
  4. Visit major stations in Northern Railway zones — booking offices or public relations counters may have records (especially for heavy disruption periods).
