SER TO RUN HOLI SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN HOWRAH AND DIGHA
Keeping in view the extra rush of the passengers during Holi Festival, South Eastern Railway has decided to run Holi Special trains between Howrah-Digha-Howrah leaving Howrah and Digha on 17.03.2025, 18.03.2025 and 19.03.2025.
Train No. 08001 Howrah-Digha Special will leave Howrah at 14.25 hrs and will reach Digha at 17.50 hrs the same day.
In the opposite direction, Train No. 08002 Digha-Howrah Special leaving Digha at 18.25 hrs will arrive Howrah at 21.45 hrs, the same day.
The Special trains will have stoppages at Santragachi, Uluberia, Mecheda, Tamluk and Kanthi stations between Howrah and Digha.
There was no Holi Special Train between Howrah and Digha (Howrah ↔ Digha) in 2025—according to Eastern Railway’s official Holi special service announcements, Digha was not included among the routes serviced during the festival period.
