- These trains were inaugurated on 17–18 January 2025, along with seven other long-distance and tourist trains to Kevadiya, aimed at offering frequent local connectivity between Vadodara’s suburb (Pratapnagar) and the Kevadiya railhead near the Statue of Unity .
- The electrified Pratapnagar–Kevadiya section (~80 km) and new Dabhoi–Chandod–Kevadiya BG line were simultaneously commissioned to support these services
