  • Avoid local travel after 23:00 on Jan 24–25 at affected stations: Mahalaxmi, Lower Parel, Prabhadevi, Matunga Road, Mahim & Khar Road. Services ran non-stop between Mumbai Central–Santacruz.
  • Expect early morning slow services (e.g. Churchgate → Borivali) to terminate at Andheri. First fast train post-block: Virar at 05:47 → Churchgate; first slow: Churchgate at 08:03
  • Many long-distance trains (e.g. Vande Bharat, Rajdhani, Duronto) were rescheduled or truncated—check your PNR status or live running updates before travel.
  • Harbour and Central line (CR) services were also blocked, but WR’s Harbour corridor remained partly functional where alternate routing was possible.
