Metro Railway’s fare is the minimum amongst all the Metros in operation in India. Metro fare is also in the lowest in comparison to road transport in the city of Kolkata. Fare of Metro Railway has been revised w.e.f 05.12.2025

🌙 ₹10 Night Fare Surcharge
- Starting 1 January 2025, a flat ₹10 surcharge applies for late-night services (beyond regular hours) on the New Garia–Dum Dum stretch of the Blue Line—strictly on these special trains.
- Example: A ₹5 trip becomes ₹15; ₹25 becomes ₹35.
