Upcoming Expansion: Phase-2 and Beyond
Phase-2 is currently under construction and will significantly extend the network by 43.8 km with 32 new stations in four corridors:

- MIHAN → Butibori MIDC ESR (~18.7 km, 10 stations)
- Prajapati Nagar → Transport Nagar (~5.5 km, 3 stations)
- Lokmanya Nagar → Hingna (6.6 km, 7 stations)
- First Phase-2 Station Expected: Lok Vihar, slated for completion by November 2025.
- Camping for Operational Efficiency: New terminal stations at Kanhan, Transport Nagar, Butibori MIDC-ESR, and Hingna will house night-time maintenance facilities to optimize operations.
- Upcoming Extension Approval: A 1.3 km addition to the Kamptee corridor (automotive square to Kanhan village) has reached final state approval.
