1. Implementation of TAG‑2025 Timetable (Effective January 1, 2025)
As part of Indian Railways’ national “Trains at a Glance 2025” update, NWR implemented widespread changes, including:
- Revised arrival and departure timings across various stations.
- Speed enhancements for over 60 trains, leading to significant time savings.
2. Jodhpur Division Overhaul
• Change in Train Termini (January 1, 2025)
- Around 20 trains in the Jodhpur division were permanently rerouted to start or terminate from Bhagat Ki Kothi instead of Jodhpur City station.
- Certain services, such as the Bikaner–Puri Express and Bikaner–Dadar Express, now use Lalgarh as their new terminus.
• Speed & Schedule Revisions (March 2025)
- Over 160 trains received updated schedules, reducing journey times by 5 to 90 minutes, depending on the route.
- Example: Delhi–Jaisalmer Express (14087) saved 90 minutes, Rewari–Hisar (09632) saved 35 minutes, and Jodhpur–Howrah (12308) saved 5 minutes.
• Temporary Cancellations & Rerouting (March 7–17, 2025)
- Due to ongoing remodeling around Jammu Tawi:
- Jodhpur–Bhopal Express (14813) and return service were cancelled.
- Other trains, like Indore–Jodhpur (12465/66) and Jaipur–Suratgarh (19719/20), had short segments cancelled.
- Marudhar Express trains were rerouted via Phulera–Ajmer for about 10 trips.
3. Maintenance Disruptions on Jaipur‑Rewari Section (March–May 2025)
- Infrastructure work at level crossing No. 61 between Anaj Mandi Rewari–Rewari impacted services:
- Train 09635 (Jaipur–Rewari Special) will operate only up to Alwar on May 25.
- Train 09636 (Rewari–Jaipur Special) will originate instead from Alwar.
