- No Pink Book has been published for 2025 or 2025–26. In 2025, the Ministry of Railways discontinued the traditional Pink Book format altogether
- The railways now plan to release zone-wise budget documents that offer similar insights (earnings, expenditure, capital works) but are more tailored per zone. These are reportedly delayed or pending release for some zones, including NR
