The charges for engaging licensed porters at Railway stations to cart the passengers luggage have been revised over South Central Railway. The revised rates will be implemented as detailed below:

    • ₹100 at large & medium stations (e.g., CSMT, Dadar, Thane, LTT, Kalyan, Pune, Nagpur)
    • ₹80 at smaller stations
  • Waiting Charges:
    • First 30 minutes free
    • ₹100 per half-hour after, at large/medium stations
    • ₹80 per half-hour at small stations
  • Wheeled Barrow (up to 160 kg): ₹150 per trip
  • Assistance for Sick/Disabled:
    • ₹150 for two-person carriage (wheelchair/stretcher)
    • ₹200 for four-person carriage
  • Special Route (Dadar Central ↔ Dadar Western): Flat ₹100 per trip
