I couldn’t locate any reports of a dedicated “Prakashotsav of Guru Gobind Singh Ji” special train announced by Indian Railways for 2025 or neighboring years. However, here’s what is known regarding train services and travel support during Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Prakash Utsav (like the 358th anniversary):

Train Operations During Prakash Utsav

  • Indian Railways facilitated pilgrim access by designating temporary stoppages for several regular trains at Patna Sahib station—the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
  • Between December 30 and January 12, 20 pairs of regular passenger trains were given these added halts to accommodate devotees visiting for the Prakash Utsav ceremonies.

These were not special trains per se, but adjustments to existing schedules for better accessibility.

Devotional Journey via Special Arrangements from Ranchi

  • In January 2025, over 350 devotees from Ranchi traveled to Patna Sahib for the Prakash Parv.
  • Some groups departed on Hatia–Patna Superfast Express, while others used the Vande Bharat Express or bus services to reach Patna for the celebrations.

These were community-organized group travels, not officially designated special trains, but reflect organized pilgrim movements.
