To clear extra rush of passengers, One Puja Special will run between Howrah and Raxaul.

Train no. 03043 Howrah – Raxaul Puja Special will leave Howrah at 22:55 hrs. on every Saturday between 01.10.2025 & 29.10.2025 (05 trips) to reach Raxaul at 14:15 hrs. on the next day

Train no. 03044 Raxaul – Howrah Puja Special will leave Raxaul at 15:45 hrs. on every Sunday between 02.10.2025 & 30.10.2025 (05 trips) to reach Howrah at 07:30 hrs. on the next day.

The trains will stop at Bandel, Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur and Jasidih stations within Eastern Railway jurisdiction enroute in both directions.

PUJA SPECIAL TRAINS TO RUN BETWEEN KOLKATA & RAXAUL

To clear the extra rush of passengers during ensuing Puja festival, Railway has decided to run one Puja Special train between Kolkata & Raxaul.

Train No. 05508 Raxaul – Kolkata Puja Special will leave Raxaul at 21:00 hrs. on every Monday & Wednesday between 24.10.2025 & 09.11.2025 (6 trips) to reach Kolkata at 13:30 hrs. on the next day.

Train No. 05507 Kolkata – Raxaul Puja Special will leave Kolkata at 15:50 hrs. on every Tuesday & Thursday between 25.10.2025 & 10.11.2025 (6 trips) to reach Raxaul at 07:30 hrs. on the next day.

The above special train will stop at Naihati, Bandel, Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur and Jasidih stations enroute in both directions within Eastern Railway jurisdiction.

The special train will have General second class, sleeper class & air- conditioned accommodations.

The booking of the Kolkata – Raxaul Puja Special (Train No. 05507) will be available on & from 25.09.2025 through PRS & internet. In addition to mail / express fare, special charge will be realized for the puja special train. Concessional booking is not allowed. Tatkal Quota is not available.
