Fare Adjustments Effective 1 July 2025
Ordinary Non‑AC Trains (Non‑Suburban)
- Second Class (General):
- No increase for journeys up to 500 km.
- For journeys beyond 500 km, flat increases apply based on distance:
- ₹5 increase for 501–1500 km
- ₹10 increase for 1501–2500 km
- ₹15 increase for 2501–3000 km
- Sleeper Class and First Class (Ordinary):
- Fare increase of 0.5 paisa per kilometre across all distances.
Mail/Express Trains (Non‑AC)
- Second Class, Sleeper, First Class:
- Uniform increase of 1 paisa per kilometre.
AC Classes (Mail/Express Trains and Premium Services)
- Classes including AC Chair Car, 3AC/3 Economy, 2AC, First AC, Executive/Anubhuti:
- Increase of 2 paise per kilometre. Applies to services like Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Vande Bharat, Tejas, Humsafar, Amrit Bharat, and others.
No Change In:
- Suburban single-journey fares
- Monthly/Season Tickets (both suburban & non-suburban)
