Southern Railway to hold Pension Adalat – 2025 through Virtual means
In view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, as directed by Railway Board, Southern Railway will hold Pension Adalat-2025 through Video Conferencing simultaneously at Southern Railway General Manager’s Ad Office, Chennai and Divisional Offices at Chennai, Tiruchchirappalli, Madurai, Salem, Palakkad and Thiruvananthapuram and all Workshops of Golden Rock/ Ponmalai, Carriage Workshop, Loco Workshop, Electrical Workshop Perambur, Engineering Workshop/ AJJ, and Stores Department of GSD, MSD, PRESS/ RPM on 30.12.2025 to redress the grievances relating to Pension/ Settlement dues of employees who retired from Southern Railway.
Pensioners can submit their grievances in the prescribed format published in the website from 16.12.2025 to 30.12.2025 and send the same through e-mail to the respective Controlling Officers whose details are furnished below duly Superscripted “Pension Adalat 2020” The disposal of the representation will be sent through e-mail address. Representations if any received through post addressed to the following official duly Superscripted “Pension Adalat 2025” will also be dealt suitably.
In the case of Pensioners from Accounts Department they may send their representations to the respective Sr.DFMs/ DFMs/ Sr.AFAs of respective Hqrs./ Divisions/ Units.

Grievances not connected with settlement dues such as Compassionate Ground Appointments and cases involving purely legal points e.g., Succession Certificate etc., will not be taken up in the Adalat.
Grievance once represented through earlier Pension Adalat and replied suitably will not be entertained
The representations which could not be disposed of before 29.12.2025 and the representations received on or after 30th December 2020 will be dealt separately and disposal will continue to be sent through e-mail etc.
The Pensioners can attend the Pension Adalat conducted by the concerned officers through Virtual means on 30.12.2025 for which further information/ link will be shared by that office.

ER’S VIRTUAL PENSION ADALAT TO BE HELD on 30.12.2025
Eastern Railway will organize ‘PENSION ADALAT (VIRTUAL)’ through video conferencing all over its unit at 12:00 hrs on 30.12.2020 (Wednesday). Eastern Railway pensioners/ Family Pensioners having pension related grievance may submit their application only through following email to the concerned units from where the Ex. Employee retired on or before 23.12.2020.

It is mentioned that, issues like appointment on Compassionate Ground and retention of Quarter/ Recovery of Penal/ Damaged Rent etc. are not within the jurisdiction of the Pension Adalat. Hence such issues shall not be entertained in the Pension Adalat.

VIRTUAL PENSION ADALAT HELD AT SER HEADQUARTERS
In accordance with the guidelines of Railway Board, the 35th Pension Adalat was virtually held at S E Railway Headquarters, Garden Reach, this morning (15.12.2025) to settle to the disputed cases of the retired railway employees.
As many as 12 cases were received from the Pensioners through e-mail and all the 12 cases have been settled and finalised. Since amicable settlements have been done, the Pensioners have been advised through e-mail, whatsapp and phone. The Pensioners who have virtually appeared, have been given proper feed back.
Smt. Zarina Firdausi, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, S E Railway virtually welcomed the Pensioners who had served the railways in their best time of the life and said that railways would settle their cases cordially.
