What Is a Railway Pension Adalat?
A Pension Adalat is a special grievance redressal forum organized by Indian Railways where retired railway employees (and their beneficiaries) can directly present unresolved pension-related concerns—such as delays in pension, family pension, gratuity, PPO issuance, and other settlement dues—and get them addressed on the spot.
These adalats are held annually across railway zones and divisions, typically in mid-December. If the scheduled date (Dec 15) falls on a holiday, the event is held on the next working day.
