Please refer to Board’s letter of even no. dated 25.05.2006 (RBA No. 25/2006), 18.08.2006 (RBA No. 42/2006), 12.10.2007 (RBA No. 37/2007), 25.02.200- (RBA No. 13/2009) and 15.03.2025 (RBA No. 5/2025) under which instructions on revised codal life of assets based on the recommendations of ED’s Committee were issued. The said Committee has further examined the proposal of fixing the codal life of LED display Boards for Passenger Information Systems, True Colour Video Cum Train Information Display System and GPS based digital clocks and their recommendations have since been accepted by Board.

Accordingly, Advance Correction Slip No. 75 amending para 219 of Indian Railway Finance Code – Volume -1 is placed below for information and necessary action.
