In view of new Time Table coming into effect from 1st July, 2025 the change in train timings of originating / terminating and passing through South Central Railway is detailed below for the information of passengers: –

Here’s what’s confirmed about the South Central Railway (SCR) new public time table for 2025:

Effective Date & Overview

  • The new public time table for SCR came into effect on January 1, 2025, as officially announced by the SCR Chief Public Relations Officer. Passengers have been advised to verify actual train timings before starting their journey.

Coach Composition Changes

  • A temporary revision in coach composition applies to the Hyderabad–Tambaram Charminar Express:
    • Train No. 12760 (Hyderabad → Tambaram): From January 1 to January 31, 2025, two General Second Class coaches are replaced by two Sleeper Class coaches.
    • Train No. 12759 (Tambaram → Hyderabad): Similar change from January 2 to February 1, 2025.
    • The revised arrangement includes:
      • 1 AC First Class cum AC Two Tier coach
      • 3 AC Two Tier coaches
      • 6 AC Three Tier coaches
      • 8 Sleeper Class coaches
      • 2 General Second Class coaches
      • 1 Divyangjan-friendly Second Class coach
      • 1 Luggage cum Brake Van
