The Salem Division (covering Coimbatore and nearby routes) has implemented revised arrival and departure timings for 11 key trains as part of the new schedule:

  • Rajkot–Coimbatore (16613): Arrives at 8:55 PM
  • Pollachi–Coimbatore (06422): Arrives at 8:50 PM
  • Pollachi–Coimbatore (06420): Arrives at 9:25 AM
  • Shoranur–Coimbatore (06804): Arrives at 5:35 PM
  • Mangalore–Coimbatore (22609): Arrives at 6:25 PM

3. Upgrades to Vande Bharat Services

Two key Vande Bharat Express services received coach enhancements:

  • Thiruvananthapuram–Kasaragod–Thiruvananthapuram (20634/20633) upgraded to a 20‑coach rake (from January 10, 2025)
    • Previously: 16 coaches; now: 18 Chair Car + 2 Executive Chair Car
  • Tirunelveli–Chennai Egmore–Tirunelveli (20666/20665) upgraded to a 16‑coach rake (from January 11, 2025)
