🧭 Tips for Travellers via Southern Railway (2025)

  • For journeys via Coimbatore, Salem, Mettupalayam, or Bengaluru, confirm your train’s new arrival/departure timings in advance.
  • For full-route planning, use RailOne app, Indian Railways NTES, or call 139 to get the latest timings.
  • Remember to cross-check planned engineering works that might affect specific travel dates.
  • If you frequently travel on SR routes, keeping tabs on station-specific updates (especially changing halts or origin shifts) is recommended.

✅ Final Thought

Southern Railway’s TAG‑2025 rollout brought timing adjustments for key express and mail trains through Coimbatore and surrounding divisions. If you travel on any of the routes affected—such as Pollachi–Coimbatore or Mangalore–Coimbatore—make sure to verify the revised schedules at least 2 weeks before your departure to avoid surprises.
