In order to clear extra rush of Passengers. Southern Railway Summer special train will run Chennai Central to Secunderabad and as detailed below:-

Special fare Special Bi-Weekly Train from MGR Chennai Central to Secunderabad

Train No.06059 MGR Chennai Central – Secunderabad Special fare Special Bi-Weekly Train will leave Chennai Central at 19.30 Hrs on April 03rd, 05th, 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th, 24th, 26th, May 01, 03rd, 08th, 10th, 15th, 17th, 22nd, 24th, 29th, 31st, June 05th, 07th, 12th, 14th, 19th, 21st, 26th, 28th, 2020 (Fridays & Sundays) and reach Secunderabad at 08.25 the next day (Saturdays and Mondays)

Stoppages: Sulurpeta, Nayudupetta, Gudur, Nellore, ongole, Tenali, Guntur, Piduguralla, Miryalguda and Nalgonda

Composition: AC Two Tier-1, AC Three Tier-2, Sleeper Class-13, Luggage cum Brake Van-2

Advance reservations for the above special trains will open at 08.00 Hrs on 12.03.2025

16 Special Trains between MGR Chennai Central – Secunderabad

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, SCR will run 16 weekly special trains between MGR Chennai Central – Secunderabad as detailed below:-

MGR Chennai Central-Secunderabad-MGR Chennai Central Special Trains (16 services):-

Train No. 06059 MGR Chennai Central – Secunderabad special train will depart MGR Chennai Central at 19.30 hrs (Friday & Sunday) on 6th, 8th, 13th, 15th, 20th, 22nd, 27th & 29th March, 2020 and arrive Secunderabad at 08.25 hrs on the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 06060 Secunderabad – MGR Chennai Central special train will depart Secunderabad at 20.00 hrs (Saturday & Monday) on 7th, 9th, 14th, 16th, 21st, 23rd, 28th & 30th March, 2025 and arrive MGR Chennai Central at 10.00 hrs on the next day.

These special trains will stop at Sulurpeta, Nayudupeta, Gudur, Nellore, ongole, Tenali, Guntur, Piduguralla, Miyalaguda and Nalgonda stations in both the directions.

These special trains consists of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class Coaches.

I couldn’t find any Summer Special train directly connecting Chennai Central to Secunderabad (and back) for 2025.
