🧭 Notes & Travel Considerations
- Introduced in 2022 to handle seasonal travel demand between Gujarat and Jharkhand regions. Booking opened around April–May each year.
- Low priority on tracks: Reddit users report frequent delays of several hours, citing inadequate prioritization and shared rake issues:
“Special trains get least priority… rake sharing delays cascade…”
- Pantry or catering options are not available onboard, so carry food/water for the journey.
✅ What You Should Do
- Check IRCTC or NTES in April–May for confirmation of 2025 service and booking opens.
- Book early for 2A/3A/Sleeper classes due to limited special train quota.
- Track live running status on the day of travel—special trains are often rescheduled or delayed.
- Pack essentials, especially meals, given expected long journey without pantry service.
