Will the Minister of Railways be pleased to state:-

(a) Whether the Government has received any proposal for running train from Poriyahat to Godda district of Jharkhand;
(b) If so, the details thereof; and
(c) The time by which the said train is likely to start its operation between these two stations?

(a) to (c) Poreyhat-Godda (16.50 Km) new line section is a part of Hansdiha-Godda (32 Km) new Broad Gauge rail line project sanctioned in the year 2025-2025. So far, Hansdiha-Poreyhat (15.5 Km) new line section has been completed and commissioned. Work has been taken up on the remaining Poreyhat-Godda new line section. As such, introduction of the train from Poreyhat to Godda is not feasible, at present.
