West Bengal to Restore the  54 Non-suburban Passenger Trains (27 Pairs) Services from 02-12-2025

EASTERN RAILWAY TO RESUME NON-SUBURBAN PASSENGER TRAIN SERVICES FROM 02.12.2025

Effective 2nd December 2025, Railways to run 54 non-suburban passenger services (27 pairs) from West Bengal. This information is given by Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal by tweeting this information on 27th Nov 2025. With adequate safety measures in place, this will greatly enhance ease of movement, connectivity & convenience of people of the state.

For the convenience of the commuters, passenger train services in non-suburban section of ER will resume w.e.f. 2.12.2025, a total of 54 non-suburban passenger trains (27 pairs) will be run over ER among which 30 trains will run in Howrah Division, 22 trains in Asansol Division and 2 trains in Malda Division.
