Western Railway Time Table 2025-24
New time table at Ahmedabad mandal from 01 July 2025 42 trains will change in the time of trains. The new time table is being implemented from 01th July on the Ahmedabad Division. In This, 27 trains from Ahmedabad will run from 27st July to 15 trains and 15 trains will run late from the present time.

Passengers may kindly take note of timings of all trains at Rajkot station as per new Time Table effective from 1st July 2025.
The new time table of railways will be implemented on the Bhavnagar division from one July.

1. Speed Enhancements (Effective January 1, 2025)
- 107 long-distance trains under Western Railway have been sped up, collectively saving 1,363 minutes in travel time.
- For example, the Bandra Terminus–Veraval Express’s journey time has been reduced by 85 minutes.
2. Express-to-Superfast Conversions
- Several Express trains were upgraded to Superfast status early in January 2025:
- BDTS–BME (19009/19010) → 21901/21902 (from Jan 3)
- BL–BGKT (19055/19056) → 22991/22992 (from Jan 7)
- SBIB–BSB–SBIB (19407/19408) → 20963/20964
3. New Vande Bharat & Express Services
- Announced additions include:
- Vande Bharat services on the Ahmedabad–Mumbai and Udaipur–Agra routes
- Namo Bharat Rapid Rail on Ahmedabad–Bhuj (6 days/week)
- Six new Express trains like BDTS–Veraval and BDTS–Barmer
4. Division-Level Schedule Changes
- Ahmedabad Division:
- 95 trains sped up.
- 48 trains now arrive 5–65 minutes earlier.
- 55 trains experience delays of 5–40 minutes.
- Central Zone Adjustments (West Central Railway):
- Over 20 trains had their departure or arrival timings revised.
- MEMU/passenger services dropped the ‘0’ prefix from their numbers.
5. Revised Schedules (April 20, 2025)
- Several trains had their timings updated:
- Surat–Mahuva Express (19255): Departs earlier at 21:30 (was 22:00), arrives earlier.
- Mumbai Central–Amritsar Mail (12903): Adjusted Vadodara timings.
- Ahmedabad–Ektanagar Jan Shatabdi (20949): Timing tweaked; currently temporarily cancelled.
- Other changes include Surat–Bhusawal Passenger (19007), Surat–Nandurbar MEMU (69169), Ahmedabad–Prayagraj Express (22967), and Udhna–Banaras Express (20929).
6. Safety, Infrastructure & Reservation Changes
- Reservation Chart Updates (from July 14, 2025):
- Trains departing between 05:01 AM–2 PM: first chart by 9 PM (prior evening).
- 2:01 PM–4 PM departures: chart by 7:30 AM (same day).
- 4:01 PM–5 AM: chart prepared 8 hours before departure.
- Infrastructure Work:
- A major maintenance block impacted 451 train services (incl. Vande Bharat and Rajdhani) between Mahim–Bandra on the nights of Jan 24–26, 2025.
- The sixth rail line between Bandra Terminus–Borivli is set for completion by July 2025, aiming to improve capacity for long-distance trains.
